Choosing an outdoor broom - 2007-04-14 |
| | How to pick the correct broom to clean your garage, driveway or sidewalk. If you have a very smooth finished surface pick a broom that has soft flagged or feathered tip bristles as this will pick up all of the small fine debris and keep dust to a minimum. If you are sweeping a rough surface like asphalt choose a broom with stiff scratchy bristle to help dislodge dirt and particles from the pores. Also check for a thick full head of hair to make sure there are a lot of bristles in the brush. This will really help cut down your cleaning time and sweep more dirt up off your floor. If possible always use a support brace like our part number 560 and a heavy duty strong handle. |
